Thespian troupe 7486

Theatre South is proud to be a member of the Educational Theatre Association; Thespian Troupe 7486.  Every year we induct several students into the thespian society, who have accrued hundreds of hours of work in a theatrical production both on stage and off.  In 2022, we had two students become International Honor Thespians (the highest honors) for their consistent commitment to the Theatre South program since freshmen year.

In past years, TS has attended the NY Thespian Festival in NYC, in which students take various workshops as well as enter into solo theatre competitions (acting, voice, etc...).

If you love being involved in your high school drama program, there are various benefits to becoming a thespian (scholarship opportunities, discounts to theatre festivals, placing it on a college resume, etc...)  Furthermore, we have had students who became International Thespian Officers and had opportunities to travel to conferences and help organize festivals, etc...
